GETTING STARTED IN ANY CROSSFIT PROGRAM

Beware of any CrossFit facility that let’s beginners just jump into class. It isn’t safe for them and it isn’t safe for you.
If you don’t have a background with CrossFit it is essential that you learn the basic movements before joining regular classes. The On-Ramp program at MKG is a 6-class introductory series designed to acclimate new members into our regular CrossFit group classes and teach the CrossFit and MKG concept itself.
Each session includes a warm-up, skill instruction/review, light workout, and stretching / mobility cool down. Over the 6 classes you’ll experience the different styles of CrossFit workout, the proper form for the major barbell exercises, safety protocols and get into a routine. At the end you’ll know without a doubt if CrossFit is for you.

WE HAVE TWO MAIN PRIORITIES
First, we want you to have FUN and On-Ramp really allows us to get to know YOU! Classes are strictly limited to 6 participants to facilitate that.
Second, is we want you to learn to move efficiently and SAFELY.
On-Ramp classes are typically conducted 3x a week for 2 consecutive weeks in the evening. Courses typically begin at the beginning of each month but are variable with demand and fill up quickly so be sure to get in touch to get on the waiting list.
We also have options for a 3-session private lesson alternative as well as a FREE consultation for those with extensive sport conditioning training.
