CrossFit IS for Moms Too…

Women’s fitness has undergone a makeover and moms are in the forefront.  More and more moms and women in general are becoming more comfortable with their bodies and focusing more on how they feel and perform, than how “skinny” they look.  Strong is the new skinny and CrossFit is the way to get there.

So what is CrossFit and why is it for me?  In short, we run, jump, push, press, pull, and squat.  But that’s not all we do.  We do it fast, with our friends yelling and cheering us on.  We make adjustments and modify the movements so that no matter what your fitness level is, we can all work hard and feel better, together.  We help set goals, then watch you meet and exceed those goals.  We focus on self improvement, by getting you stronger, moving faster and becoming more efficient in everything you do –we all know that as a mom, efficiency is EVERYTHING.  And most importantly, we have FUN!

You will be surprised at how quickly you are able to make progress and reach your goals.  Our WODs (Workout Of the Day) are constantly varied, meaning that you’ll never get bored or stuck in the same routine.  And you will be constantly training your body differently every day.  And say good-bye crunches and all those other painful “ab routines”. Every once in a while, you will see sit-ups or a variation of the sort, but at CrossFit, we don’t focus on just “abs” because of the variety of lifting and body-weight exercises we do, you are constantly working your core and building that strength.  And although the classes are an hour long, the majority of the time you are only working out for 15 minutes or less!  ANYBODY can fit that in their schedule!  Yes, even YOU

Kelly, Brandy, Jillian, Lisa, Tracy and Amy : And although we don’t have any pictures of these ladies working hard, their efforts will not go unnoticed.  It seems as though everyday they are getting stronger and working hard and we love having them in class, along with the rest of these inspirational women!
